Wendi McLendon-Covey Biography
Wendi McLendon-Covey is an American actress, writer, producer and comedian. She is well known because of her roles on television exhibits, such as Rules of Engagement.
McLendon-Covey was born in Bellflower, California. She has been married in year 1996 to Greg Covey.
They live in the Long Beach, California.
She is very skilled as an improvisational actress. She was a member of The Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles from 2002 to 2009. Even though a member of the Groundlings, McLendon-Covey was a classmate of comedians Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.
After a breakout performance in the 2011 comedy film Bridesmaids, McLendon-Covey has appeared in a number of films. Including What to Expect When You’re Expecting , The Single Moms Club , Think Like a Man Too , and Hello, My Name Is Doris. In 2013, she began starring as Beverly Goldberg, a family matriarch, on the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs, for which she was nominated for two Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
